Medieval

Medieval Britain, c.500 - 1500 AD, can be split into three periods: Early, High, and Late. CFA has recovered artefacts spanning the whole of this time, from Anglo-Saxon knives to late medieval cooking pots, providing a snapshot into the changing material culture of the time.

CFA Archaeology Medieval Cooking Pot

A small, broken, triangular-shaped shallow ceramic dish. It is mostly covered in a shiny green glaze, although the bottom is grey, where the glaze has come off. It is shown from the top, bottom, and side, with a black background.
